Workshops or group classes can be arranged for business, schools or friends and family.

Yoga at Work
This one-hour class is designed to introduce the concept of stress and its effects. Participants will learn simple stretches and breathing techniques that can be done anywhere and at anytime. A key concept is to “Stop, Breathe, Reflect and Choose,” thereby mediating an escalating effect of stress physiologically and psychologically. Happy people = good work! No special clothing or equipment is necessary.

Creative Stress Management
This two- or three- hour workshop expands on the “Yoga at Work” theme. It will be informative as well as experiential. No special clothing or equipment is necessary. Discussion, light stretching, breathing techniques and visualization will be used to help participants:
1) Understand the stress cycle and its effects on physical, emotional and psychological health.
2) Identify stressors and stress responses in their own life.
3) Create a plan to mediate the effects of stress.

Stretch Your Game (this program could be designed for tennis, golf or racquetball).
This one or two-hour workshop utilizes yoga-based techniques to improve your game. Comfortable clothing should be worn. Participants will learn to:
1) Increase flexibility.
2) Strengthen muscles.
3) Develop concentration and balance.
4) Prevent injury.

Wellness - to be or not to be?
Wellness is not just a new age concept. It is vital to employers. Stress can take its toll in missed work days, poor performance and decreased team effort. Poor body mechanics can lead to injuries, including the back- the #1 reason for missed work. In this two- or three- hour format participants will:
1) Explore the effects of stress on the body and mind.
2) Look at the effects of postural habits on wellness with an emphasis on back health.
3) Create and experience a plan for physical and mental well-being using gentle physical movements, breathing and relaxation techniques.

How to Meditate or “Letting the Mud Settle”.
Meditation is not just for those who can sit quietly for hours. It can be a vital and integrated part of our daily lives and help us to act from a more balanced state of being. Learn techniques to:
1) Break the stress cycle with five minute techniques.
2) Quiet the mind.
3) Disengage from emotions and thoughts.
4) Create greater harmony in our personal and work lives.

On-going Group Classes
Classes can be arranged for a minimum of 8 people. Some of the courses I have taught in the past include: An Introduction to Yoga: In this six-week course students will learn a variety of poses, breathing and relaxation techniques designed to strengthen the body, quiet the mind and soothe the spirit; Yoga for the Wise Woman (menopause); Yoga and Scoliosis, and Yoga for the Mature.
